Welcome to Summit Impact’s 2025 Lab landing page!
</aside>
The 2025 Summit Impact Lab is an 8-month program for early-stage or inflection-point founders and entrepreneurs, designed to redefine how they build and sustain reciprocal relationships. Rooted in the belief that authentic, generous relationships are the foundation of systemic change, and grounded in ecological and relational science, the Lab helps Fellows evolve their thinking and approach to connection—starting with themselves and expanding to their work and ecosystems. By the end of the program, Fellows will gain clarity of purpose, a stronger capacity for authentic collaboration, and a network activated to support their growth and impact.
Fellows are welcomed into the Summit community and guided through transformative experiences such as the Welcome Retreat and Summit Series Detroit flagship. These immersive touchpoints are paired with personalized coaching to help Fellows develop new relational strategies and move beyond transactional interactions toward authentic, reciprocal partnerships. At the heart of the Lab are Super Connectors, who leverage their unique expertise to make intentional, high-impact introductions tailored to each Fellow’s strategic goals.
Together, these elements ensure Fellows are equipped with the tools, relationships, and mindset to catalyze meaningful change.

**Sophia Mahfooz. Founder, CEO, Back Humanity**
Human migration · refugees
Like a startup on steroids Back Humanity has responded to two humanitarian crises. What started as a volunteer lead effort from entrepreneurs, engineers and students from Silicon Valley grew to a structured, organization providing on the ground support to families in Afghanistan and again during the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
Back Humanity is building a country on the internet for ‘refugees’ stateless people. By building digital solutions that empower you if you suddenly become displaced. This means providing nation state services to people who become stateless.
Putting the power back in the hands of people who become stateless, reducing the time people are displaced and supporting healthy integration is the key focus. Back Humanity believes that technology has the power to impact lives in the humanitarian system and want to build digital solutions that empower the 100m people displaced.
